The semester is finished but it had a lot of fruit moments where I learnt a lot.  Therefore. I did this homework to show what was my learning during this period of time.

18 th week of class

This week it was the oral exposition  of the interdisciplinary project  work where we had to apply every think that we learned into these previous semesters. During the time that we were developing the project we learn that it is important to work as a group, pay attention in every detail, study hard and be careful at the moment answer the question. I think that I going to find more information and study a little bit more  to avoid the bad experience that I have this time.

 Well, talking about the topic of this week in internet class  This week,  I spent my time o finish my Virtual learning environment I did my best to accomplish this assignment. I read some tutorials about how to use Edmodo in education.

 

Week Seventeen

The semester I get a lot of knowledge, and now it is time to apply it; therefore, it was assigned to create a Virtual Learning Environment. In order to develop this innovative idea, I have to play the role of teacher and my classmates will be my students. The tool that I will use to develop my Virtual Learning Environment is Edmodo.  In this platform, we should create an account as a teacher. This web site gives me   a code to allow me to invite students to my class. Next of that I will have to create activities, tasks, quizzes for my students in an organized way. 

The use of technology in  EFL classrooms has many advantages for students and teachers because it allows that student could interact and  establish communication in education.


For a future, the use of this web sites will increase the possibilities to have better results. Therefore,  I will use this tool to share my English class.

This week we presented  the oral presentations about Web 2.0 tools.

 It was started with  Twitter. It explain how to create a account  anthen how to use for education purposes.

The second group talk about  about Google Maps that is useful tool to find directions

WEEK 15

This week unfortunately there was no internet, therefore, we decided to developed the alternative class, we talked about some aspects about  Education and how to create a good environment. We analyzed it in three different points of view school, high school and university. Also, we analyzed some advices and tips to understand students and help them to solve students' problems.

WEEK 14

This week we didn't have classes. Then, every one took time to have the homework ready.  Also, we prepared their presentation for next week.      

WEEK 13

This week,  the  learn was  about  Web 2.0  and its  tools. For example, blogger, wikispaces, youtube, flicker, and others. In order to get more knowledge everyone will have to prepare an oral presentation about these Wikispaces works and creating  two  activities to show how these work  and how it help us in an english class. Hten I think that technology has been the best tool to teach because involve many ways that we as a teacher do to catch the attention of students.

In addition,  I learned about t another important  internet resource called Google Docs which allows to create different types of documents such as Word, Power Point or Excel; and also, it is possible to acess to this  documents and files  and share with others.

I think it will be helpfulfor me  a lot for my future  because I will be able to use it for my classes.

WEEK 12

Well, during this week we learned to keep an electronic portfolio for show our works  through a digital book. So, we get a lot of  explanations about show to use. The application is  “Cuadernia”. I “Cuadernia”  is kind of book that help us to show our works in a neat way, and its educational materials generator, too. Also, it could be used for teachers and students.

 Other interesting thing is that “Cuadernia” counts with many advantages, for example: it gives  us  the opportunity to create 21 different kinds of activities, it allows to use a background according our personality, insert  text,  images, videos and so on. On the other hand, the disadvantages could be that  o we should have in hand everything ready.

WEEK 11

This, I learned how to do lesson plans, but the most important was how to write the objectives according with the ABCD method.  This week everyone presented our demo class through PPT, and we our best effort to have a good results. In order to get good presentation. We follow some stages. First, every group  did a lesson template and based on that we developed  PPT to combine  our knowledge with technology and in this way could teach. This activity was recorder because it will be and evidence of how many we are learning.  The best of this was that every partner  cooperate  andgive help  doing the role of students in the presentation.  Some of  these activities help us to be involved in the two roles as a teachers and as students. I consider this was  a nice experiences because we could know how satisfactory is to teach specially if we want to work with children . 

As  a conclusion, I will take the positive thing that  saw from my classmates and  I will apply in my future career

      As it was said,  a lesson plan is a document similar of a guide to develop a class. To get goo result when we have to apply a English class, it is important to know how to develop the four skill,  and show the procedure into the lesson plan because they are important for getting linguistic competence.A lesson plan should contain  all the steps very clear, well organize and easy to follow with this we can achieve a correct evaluation.  

     To achieve this new knowledge, we had to read a lot of how to develop a correct lesson plan based on the teaching of four skills. As a teacher we should pay attention in that the 'four skills'  listening, speaking, reading, and writing readily come to mind. Of course other skills such as pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and spelling all play a role in effective English communication, but our attention must be on this  the elemental four skills.

      As the quotation says the education is a process and to achieve that it is important to have a good lesson plan. Everyone knows that a lesson plan is a document that keep the function  of a guide in class; but  it is important to know that a good lesson plan has some parts that teacher should follow. ESL page says "Having a lesson plan is like having a complete and clear visualization of how a learning session is to take place and how students are able to grasp and retain lesson concepts"; according this quotation we can deduce that is necessary to predispose of one of them, because it helps to know the develop of  our students.

      For knowing how to do a lesson plan we can use the ESL web site. there we can find an infinity of samples of  lesson plans, or if we want we could ask help some teacher.  The most important when we are doing a lesson plan is know the level and age of the students, have in mind the objectives that we want to achieve, what will be the activities, and konw in which  format  we are going to work. If we did a good lesson plan it will be clear and easy to follow to other teachers.

     For present  a professional Power Point Presentation  it is necessary to avoid some things that show it as some ridiculous. First, it is important to organise the information in key words, avoiding  to add unnecessary information . Besides, we  can put this in graphic organiser. Second, it is important not to use  exotic animations because people who see it will pay attention on the animation instead of the information. Furthermore, you should not  add   strong or bright colors. Finally we should avoid to put pictures that are very extravagances that do not show anything, they must be more professionals, and be according to the content of the presentation. As a result,  I will apply it to do excellents  Power Point Presentation that lok very professionals.

         Today, one of the most important tool in education is Internet. This was the principal objective of the class  was the great importance of internet on education. We learned about more pages that help us to increase our material to be  good teachers, those places were web sites as delicious www.delicious.com, or some  places where we can find information or keep it. As a result, this information was called by us  like the best of the best, because it is really helpful to succeed.

         This good information came to us through  a PowerPoint  Presentation that was given by teachers. They shared this information, and to have a good reinforcement of it i think is necessary to see a video that shows the real importance of internet in our teaching life.

 as you know, sometimes, this source is not well used or something worst that students do not have access to internet, to reflect about it, it is necessary  to see this video:

We accessed it through an invitation, and there we created an account in this place because in there we are going to create a virtual portfolio. Finally, we knew that we can upload and keep all kind of files.

The best tool to keep good web page is DIIGO which help to avoid that you are copyigng all the URL. This week, we learned about the use of Diigo, this page has the propose of help us to order and keep the information that we will consider important. Finally, you could use this space like if it were a true library because it has many options as highlights, sticky notes and so on, that simplify our life.

        There is not a good result, if there is not a big effort.          This week we learn how to avoid plagiarism. we visited some  pages to support our knwledge to support our knwledge. This pages taught us that is importan to give credits to persons  who write or create a new things.it important. furthermore, it is importan to cite the resourses that we use. in another hand, we reviewed the APA style that are rulers to improve our writing and avoiding  plagarism. these rules were created by  American Phsycology  Association. Finally, with this knowledge we will started to show our effort without copy the ideas of someone.

Second week of class

            This week was very productive for everyone who wants to get good information from internet. This week of class brough useful topics, and with this we learned how to avoid that is  not reliable information.

Finally, we could do comments about this page and the most important is that we did it in The Internet and Multimedia Page.

            This kind of information taught us that as teachers, we will   have a great responsibility in our hands because our students will learn all that we will provide them and it will be a big mistake if we share an information without reliable fundaments.

First Week of class
